November conference addresses rapid change to education in China

Education in China is beginning to change. An increasing number of parents are seeking out Western-style learning options. More Chinese schools are focusing on the learning progress of each individual student, rather than on academic rankings and league tables alone. More schools in China are offering some or all their learning in English. And a growing number of schools are hiring a mixture of Chinese and non-Chinese staff to provide the best learning solutions.
Technology and data is crucial for supporting such educational change. The right resources help a school to shift the deep-set cultural expectations of parents, students and staff, and to identify the full potential of every child.
Some schools looking to the future of education potential in China are already using technology and data to enable such changes.
Will Percy from HD Ningbo School is one of the presenters at SchoolSuccess China, a one-day conference that will take place in Shanghai on 21st November. He will explain how his school has used data-driven technology to prepare students for higher education outside China, and to change the traditional learning expectations of parents.
You can read Will Percy’s account of how HD Ningbo School is making that move right here.
Other speakers, experienced in aspects related to digital platforms and data use in schools in China, will give Chinese bilingual and international schools an understanding of how the use of data and digital platforms can help them develop strategies for change and future success. The conference will be practical and informative, with the chance to network with industry peers.
If you are a bilingual or international school in China, then register now as places are limited. Find out more, view a full agenda, and book your place here.
