User Group Meetings

Product updates, knowledge sharing, networking and more

Book a demo

WCBS runs a series of free, product focused user group meetings. These events are a great opportunity for WCBS system users to hear the latest software news, share knowledge, and have a say in longer term product direction.

Approximately seventy user group events take place annually, at a variety of UK regional locations. The programme includes:

  • 3Sys User Group
  • Academic Systems Managers Club
  • Admissions User Group
  • webALUMNUS User Forum

Networking

User group attendees greatly value the opportunity to liaise directly with WCBS software development staff. Lunch is also provided at the meetings, which are a great environment for networking with peers from other schools.

UPASS – finance user group

WCBS users can also attend UPASS user group meetings, which are independently run by a committee of WCBS customers. The meetings have an emphasis on, but are not restricted to, financial management issues.

Purpose and agenda

WCBS user group meetings:

  • Provide a forum for members to discuss best practice
  • Allow WCBS to present newly developed product functionality
  • Provide users with free/cost-effective group training
  • Aid the prioritisation of software enhancement requests
  • Enable schools to highlight market developments and changes in academic, administrative or development practices.
