WCBS International exhibits at ECIS Conference

The recent European Council of International Schools (ECIS) conference held from 16th-20th November 2011 in Lisbon, Portugal was a successful event for WCBS, once again.

WCBS was represented by Tony Child (Managing Director, WCBS International) and Richard Walling, (Professional Services Manager), with both commenting on the excellent feedback from existing customers and the number of new enquiries from significant schools.

WCBS customers took the opportunity to catch up with Tony and Richard, with conversation centred on 3Sys. “We are encouraged by the feedback from Heads of international schools saying how their staff enjoy using 3Sys – and how well it’s working for them” said Richard.

The November ECIS conference is the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the world. Teachers, heads of school, guidance counsellors and college admissions personnel make up the 1500 delegates who enjoy over two hundred guest speakers during the three days of presentations and a major exhibition by school suppliers and publishers. The latter included WCBS, who also once again sponsored the ISC Research Dinner where many of the leading lights of the International School world were present.

ECIS provided a positive note on which to round off the international conference circuit for 2011 and to support what has been another enjoyable and successful year for WCBS International.

Schools using WCBS products are now in over 30 countries, and 2011 has seen the Hong Kong office expanding with Pamela Wallace joining the company working with James Whale, the Business Development Director for Asia. Along with the continuing support with extended opening hours, the commitment of WCBS to the international market has been continually grows, the latest initiative being the extension of the support facility.

For WCBS customers based outside the UK, real-time email support is provided on Sundays 6am to 2pm (UK time) and  Monday to Friday 2am to 8am (UK time, excluding Bank Holidays)

WCBS International looks forward to meeting the needs of even more international schools in 2012!
