WCBS/UPASS National Seminar

This annual event took place on May 29th at the Marriott Hotel in Northampton. It included the UPASS AGM. Minutes of that meeting will be circulated by the UPASS committee shortly.

Tony Child, Managing Director, gave an update on WCBS. A key announcement was that the Helpline will open at 0800 from 4th June, providing another 5 hours of contact time for all users. He reported continued sales success with independent schools in the UK and international schools across Europe and the Middle East.

Workshop sessions on the Academic Year-End process and TP Returns were delivered by Richard Walling, Consultant Services Manager. Supporting documents can be downloaded from the user area of the website.

Demonstrations of the two newest additions to the PASS range were carried out by Alistair Steadman, Sales Executive. These are PASS Grant Management, which helps with the administrative burden of awards/bursaries, and PASS School Activities, which manages extra-curricular activities and allows for automatic charging to fee bills.
