Your implementation will be closely supported by a dedicated, qualified Project Manager, so you are in good hands. Whether you are buying new academic or finance software, you can find confidence in your personalised project plan, detailing each task required and when it needs to happen to ensure the software is a success in your school. And we don’t stop there. Your Project Manager will be on hand to co-ordinate all the other internal teams at WCBS as your single point of contact and we’ll be there to see you through your first bill run or school reports run providing expertise and advice along the way.
The Process
To ensure your school benefits from a smooth transition and so that we can get you up and running as soon as possible – without cutting corners – we centre the implementation process around four key milestones:

Kick-off
Our teams remove any concerns you may have around delivering IT projects.
During the kick–off stage we get to know you and your school, working together to ensure we set and meet Success Criteria. We establish timelines and manage tasks through our shared online project management tools and plans, keeping you informed along the way.

Configuration
Establishing a mutual understanding of your data, how it is used in your school and the outcomes it needs to deliver is the centre point of good configuration.
We carefully migrate your data and configure our systems to suit your needs. This can include designing bespoke reports that provide the data you need to showcase your school to parents and pupils.

Knowledge
With your software set up, our online or onsite training services are delivered by an expert team of consultants who work with you to tailor the system to your needs and provide best practice advice along the way.
The team is supported by The WCBS Academy, an online, always available free repository of training materials designed to suit your needs.

Going Live
Once launched, our support teams are on hand to help and support you in those first few weeks, and your Project Manager will continue to ensure your goals have been met.
You will also meet your Customer Account Manager; a long term contact who will regularly keep in touch and continue to build on the good work of the Operational services team.
